The following list includes contests, classes and job links that I've come across in my work. You will find the majority is made up of contests. I feel entering contests help writers find their place in the writing world. Down towards the bottom of the page you will find several helpful writing resources.

The following list is updated regularly with the newest classes, events and contests for writers.

6. What sets this person off? Is he/she short tempered? Laid back or quiet spoken?

F. Background

1.Where was this person born? What were his/her parents like?

2. What effect does his/her background have on how this person acts in the present?

3.Was it a happy childhood? Traumatic?

4.Is this person religious? What beliefs does he/she have?

5.What kind of education does this person have? How does he/she make a living?
